Here we have a video from IGN.com, that has Developer Commentary from the Lead Multiplayer Desiegner on Rainbow Six Vegas 2, by the name of J.P. Cambiotti. He commentates as we watch a special video of what seems to be a type of “Assassination” gametype where there are two teams, both of which have leaders, and the goal is to get your leader to the extraction point without dying, taking out the other team’s leader is also a factor in winning this gametype.

The map that we will take a look at here is called Import/Export, which is a map with a main street and one floor buildings surrounding the main street. J.P. suggests working your way the the extraction point inside the buildings, as opposed to just running blindly through the middle of the street and getting sniped faster than you can say nOOb. The map also features a few cars and other environment type items (i.e. vines and plants). The map can be closely resembled to Call of Duty 4’s crossfire. Below you see an image of the Import/Export map itself…

Before we get into the video, I’d just like to talk a little bit about my “preview” of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 so far…

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is a must buy for me. RSV was and still is one of my favorite games of all time. And with new maps, updated graphics, and new ranking mechanics, RSV: 2 is a sure purchase for me. The sound is unbeatable, as you will see in the video, if there are shots being fired and you slightly turn, the bullet noises are going shift as if your stereo system are your two ears. The graphics aren’t the greatest, but they’re still cool. And yes, I will admit, I think that the RSV series completly blows the Call of Duty series out of the water as far as “modern” and “military-like” shooters go, this game will be one for the books, but I’ll have a review up shortly after it’s U.S. release date (March 18, 2008)…

So without further a do, here’s your feature presentation. Lolz…

The video also contains J.P. explaining the A.C.E.S. system, including Marksman, CQB, and Assault… Thanks forv reading/watching….
